The Lord has laid something on my heart this week and although I'm not yet sure where He will lead me to act in this matter, His timing is rather perfect. Tuesday was National Sanctity of Life Day and 2013 is the 40th Anniversary of Roe v. Wade.

The Lord's timing is so amazing; today in developmental psychology we 'learned' about prenatal development. Our professor kept correcting herself to use the term "organism" rather than "baby" or "fetus." Something about the word "organism" really bothered me. We refer to flowers, insects, amoeba, and moss as organisms. A young baby is a uniquely planned gift from God placed in the safest of places, the womb.

Is it fair to send a child, no matter how small or young directly from the womb to the tomb?

“I think abortion is killing a life, [But] the person who is pregnant should decide whether to do it or not” – Estrella Flores, Participant in the “March for Women’s Lives” held in Washington D.C. on April 25, 2004

How can killing an innocent life, a life that has not sinned, or spoken, or even breathed, be a right?

All you have to do is pray to end abortion and pray the Lord enters the spirit of those considering abortion. Pray constantly and encourage others to pray. No societal sin is too great for the Lord to descend upon.
